Check out this excellent video from Serj Tankian featuring some of his musician friends. It's time for Pres. Obama to realize that not recognizing the Armenian Genocide is the same as denying it ever occurred.

Obama Again Breaks Pledge to Recognize Armenian Genocide

President Obama has again broken his word to Recognize the Armenian Genocide. Once more, the Turkish lobby has prevailed and the American Government has caved to their demands. Frankly, it is sickening. So much promise from this President, and so much disappointment. I can only assume that he does not care what kind of world his daughters will live in. His actions show that it is acceptable to revise history when it is politically expedient. Shame on you, President Obama. Shame on all in the government who do not support recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
Below is a statement from the Armenian National Action Committee:

Despite a clear pledge to recognize the Armenian Genocide as president of the United States, President Obama once again used euphemistic language to describe the murder of over 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Turkish government from 1915-1923.
You can express your deep disappointment to President Obama by sending a free ANCA WebMail right now. Follow the link to the ANCA website:

New York Times article
On Friday, May 22, 2009 an article entitled "At Turkish Border, Armenians Are Wary of a Thaw" ran in the New York Times. Relations between the two countries remain strained because of the Turkish refusal to acknowledge the genocide of over a million and a half Armenians during World War I.
